 Al Azhar University is an islamic university located in Cairo, Egypt. It was only university which is too old among Muslims. It was founded in 970 AD by Fatimids as a Islamic learning centre.  It was re established in 1961 in Jamal Abdul Nasser government.

IIUI International Islamic University Islamabad is located in Pakistan's capital city Islamabad. It is public and tertiary education research center. It is also considered in Pakistan the center of Islamic sciences and theology.The University has 30,000 students ( 20000 males and 10000 females). There are separate campus for girls and boys. University Offer PhD , MA, MS ,MBA, BS, BBA programes.

The 3rd Islamic and tremendous university of Muslim world is imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. It is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 1953 and granted university status in 1974 by royal decree.
